Yendi Guest House

The Yendi Guest House provides welcoming and dignified shelter for
visiting African Christian Healthcare workers from around the world. The
design prioritizes human comfort while respecting the cultural, climatic,
and architectural context of the local area. Oriented to the sun path and
prevailing winds, the building employs passive strategies to achieve
natural ventilation and continuous air circulation. Locally relevant materials
and landscape design rooted in the use of trees for natural shading
reinforce a strong connection to place, resulting in a guest house that is
both environmentally responsive and culturally grounded.
