STUDIO PROJECT
Crystalline Design responds to Harding University’s need to unite the art, architecture, graphic
design, and interior design departments within a single collaborative environment. The project
preserves much of the original Olen Hendrix Building design while introducing new crystalline
additions at each corner, expressing growth emerging from the existing structure. This layered
architectural system organizes studios in a way that promotes visual and spatial connection
while minimizing boundaries, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and creative exchange.
