The Resilience Project
The Resilience Project responds to Detroit, Michigan’s need for a cultural museum by engaging a site of historical significance, a former military training facility. The design preserves and integrates the original structure while introducing an addition that extends toward the waterfront. Rooted in the foundations of the past, the new intervention reaches outward to represent Detroit’s continued growth and resilience. Both the building and landscape are conceived as interconnected systems, weaving in and out of one another to create a seamless dialogue between history, architecture, and the evolving city.
I served as the lead architectural designer for this project, driving the design concept from development through execution. I was heavily involved in the Revit model development, ensuring clarity and coordination, while also contributing to the rendering process in Lumion to communicate the design intent visually.
